Our pharmacy has a way to improve the times of day when medications should be given thereby ensuring total compliance.
When it comes to medicating patients with special needs, compliance can be a big issue.
Medication that comes packaged in blister cards makes it an easy way to manage times of administering the drug. You can easily see if the medication has been taking on a scheduled basis and allows you to re-order the medication in a timely fashion.
This system has been working well with our Alzheimer’s patients. The blister cards can acheive tremendous results for the caretakers of these patients.
