Rye Beach Pharmacy is a full service community pharmacy that has been family owned for over 61 years.  The pharmacy was originally bought by Dan Giaquinto in 1946, as it was the smallest of four pharmacies in Rye at the time and only open for summer business.  Today the pharmacy is the only independent left, specializing in patient counseling, compounding, BHRT, nutritional supplements, natural health products, custom fitted stockings and other homecare products.

Rye Beach Pharmacy's premises total over 5000 sq. feet, spread over three floors.  The Pharmacy's present and second structure won architectural awards upon its completion in 1974.  The interior was completely remodeled in 1996, continuing its tradition as a beautiful neighborhood icon.  

Our staff has grown to over 35 full and part-time employees, with at least five R.Ph. on-site for any weekday, plus one Pharmacist working from home conducting Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy (BHRT) consultations. 

Rye Beach Pharmacy also has a state-of-the-art prescription compounding lab equipped with a Class 10,000 clean room, laminar flow hood, and many other high-tech machines.  We have trained compounding specialists that focus their whole day in the 600 square foot lab and are members of the Professional Compounding Centers of America (PCCA).  Currently we focus our customized medications in BHRT, Veterinary needs and Pain Management that include servicing the New York Rangers, Knicks and Liberty.

Rye Beach Pharmacy Natural Product Department is run by Ronald May, R.Ph.  Ronald does not fill any prescriptions during his day, but is available in the aisle for any herbal and product information requested by our customers.  Rye Beach Pharmacy strongly believes in a proactive approach of vitamins and nutrition to achieve one’s Optimal Health.

Patricia Stokes (Certified Fitter) has been managing the Homecare Department for over five years.  The department carries full lines of compression stockings, garments, sport braces, breast pumps, incontinence products, bathroom safety and walking aids.

Rye Beach Pharmacy is known as the store that has a little of everything under the sun, which is spread over many departments.  Though the most important character trait is the caring, kindness and energy given off by the front counter staff that makes you feel like part of the family.

Luisa is a graduate of St. John's University School of pharmacy and has been practicing pharmacy for 16 years.  She participates in disease management where she monitors drug therapies and interactions in collaboration with physicians.  The constant and faithful aim has always been and will continue to be "The best patient care possible."
